The Selection Program

The Illinois Business Hall of Fame has four membership categories: laureates, fellows, role models and the local business heritage program. In each category a panel of 20 to 30 university business college faculty members and related professionals chooses members. Persons selected must have a record of noteworthy accomplishment in business and must represent a role model deemed worthy of emulation. Members receive a "Pledge of Trusteeship" which binds the Illinois Business Hall of Fame to keep the new member's story alive in perpetuity throughout the state.
